ADMISSION INFORMATION

ADMISSION STARTS FROM FEBRUARY

For Sainik School, admission is opened from February onwards for boys only from class VI to XI, after passing the entrance test for admission. The school website for registration for admission is opened from 15th January 2016. Website:www.msmsainikschool.in

ELIGIBILITY

The admission is open for Only boys from Class III to XI.

AGE

For class VI - Above 10 Years and below 11 years of age on 1st of July of the year of admission.
For class IX - Above 13 years and below 14 years of age on 1st of July of the year of admission.

RESERVATION

Each class has the admission capacity to accommodate 45 students. The distribution of the seats available are as under:-
  • Wards of Defence personal and Ex-servicemen : 25%
  • OBC & Poor: 15%
  • Scheduled caste / Scheduled tribes: 7.5%

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Admission to class VI and Class IX is granted strictly on the basis of entrance examination which is conducted at the school campus in the month of February. The written test for class VI and Class IX are as follows :-

Note: The medium and language for Class VI and Class IX, entrance examination question paper will be only in English language. The standard of examination for Class VI would be equivalent to that of Class V and for Class IX would be equivalent to that of Class VIII of CBSE.

The school organises educational tours along with staff members to places of historical and educational interest. There is also ample opportunity for senior boys to go on hikes and out-door excursions during their stay at the school.
